Mike's mutigster Track-Titel. „A Silent Hallelujah" — ein stilles Halleluja. Im normalen Verständnis ist Halleluja laut. Mike zeigt: es kann auch still sein.
Psalm 65,2: „Gott, man lobet dich in der Stille zu Zion." Im hebräischen Original: l'kha dumiyah tehillah Elohim b'Tzion — „dir Stille ist Lobpreis, Gott, in Zion".
Das hebräische dumiyah (דֻמִיָּה) bedeutet wörtlich „Stille, Schweigen". Die hebräische Tradition kennt also den stillen Lobpreis als ehrwürdige Form. Nicht jeder Worship muss laut sein. Manche Halleluja sind hörbar nur im Inneren.
Mike's instrumentaler Track ist Anwendung. Er enthält kein gesprochenes „Halleluja" — und ist doch durchgehend Halleluja. Das ist musikalische Theologie in ihrer reinsten Form. Mike's Sound trägt diese englische stille Lobpreis-Realität.
